Prairiewood Retreat & Preserve is one of the neatest spots in Manhattan, KS for wedding photos. Michael and Stacy decided on The Stone House from Prairiewood. It’s such a neat smaller venue with a rich history. It’s sits on a hill overlooking the area but it’s tucked away perfectly so everything is quiet and very serine. The construction of the building began in 1860 and is now fully renovated to accommodate your group to stay the night there or have it as a nice retreat for the two of you.

I really love the stone buildings here. This was the original barn that they use as a ceremony location. Once the guests left for the reception we stayed a bit later to take photos around the venue 🙂
